What one day looks like

1 December with Klokke

From the evening before to your child's reply. Shown here with Ida and her Bamse as an example — yours will have your child's name.

19:00
The evening before · just for youLeave a bell (bigger than a matchbox, ideally on a ribbon — or a bell cut out of paper) and note no. 1 from the printable pack (or copy out the line) by the door.

Klokke is writing «The Song of Ida» — it's finished on Christmas Eve. The printable pack has a note for every line; on some days the line is only in the letter, and your child sings it instead. No tiny bells — they can be swallowed.

The plan arrives by email at 19 and in the grown-ups' area behind your code. With the print pack, also as a separate grown-up sheet — never in your child's letter.

In the morning

Ida knocks on the little door in the app. The door opens, Klokke peeks out and hands over an envelope.

Ding-a-ling, hello Ida! My name is Klokke, and I have a bell on my hat. It rings when I'm happy — and I'm happy all the time! In December I want to write a song about you. One line a day. The very last line will be the most important — but it's a secret for a long time yet. Will you help? Ding! Your singing nisse, Klokke

Under the letter your child can draw or write a little reply. The story doesn't change — the reply is saved for the Christmas book you get by email on 24 December.

Tomorrow

Good morning! Line 1 is ready: «There's a nisse behind a door.» Now we need a rhyme … And last night I found it, Ida! I sat on a wooden spoon and sang every word that sounds like “door”: floor, four, roar … and then: “more”! Here is line 2: «she sings and sings and sings some more.» That's me, singing all the time, ding-a-ling! Sing both lines with me: first quiet as a mouse, then loud as a bell. Ding! Your singing nisse, Klokke
